Polyester (Poly) Webbing Polyester Webbing Polyester webbing is the choice made when the least amount of stretch is required. Most fall restraint harnesses are made out of polyester webbing for this reason. Polyester also has a high strength ratio. Our P5000 poly webbing has a tensile strength of 20,000 lbs! As a synthetic flat webbing, polyester webbing is resistant to mildew, aging and abrasion; softens at 464 f, melts at 500 f and has low shrink properties.
